Definitions
- As a minimum requirement, cooperative research projects must include one fisherman and one scientist, however a majority of NCRPP funded projects involve many participants. Principal investigators as indicated here reflect the project coordinator or NCRPP contact and do not reflect all of the participants in the project. For complete participant lists please refer to the project reports.
- In Progress: defined as those projects still ongoing.
- In NOAA Review: defined as completed projects for which submitted reports are within contractual and technical review by NOAA Fisheries administrative and scientific staff.
- Completed NOAA Review: defined as completed projects for which submitted reports have completed and approved contractual and technical reviews
- In NEFMC Review: defined as completed projects for which submitted reports have completed contractual and technical review and have been transferred to the New England Fisheries Management Council’s Research Steering Committee for management review.
- Completed NEFMC Review: defined as completed projects for which submitted reports have completed all reviews and a determination of management utility has been made. For management utility decisions please see the NEFMC website.
Final Reports are defined as project completion reports which have successfully completed the applicable reviews. Reports are divided into the following PDF files for ease of use:
- Abstract: Executive summary or abstract from the report when provided
- Full Text: Reports in their entirety including all text, tables, figures and images
- Text Only: For large project this option allows for download of the text independent of figures, tables and images.
