Square Description (i.e. habitat, landmarks, coastline markers): Atlantic Ocean waters within the square within Long Island Sound affecting the following: on the north shore of Long Island from Cove Neck on the east, west of Cold Spring Harbor, NY., west past Oyster Bay, NY., Oyster Bay Harbor, Centre Island, Bayville, NY., on Oak Neck, and west Matinecock Pt. to Hempstead Harbor at Glen Head, west of Sea Cliff, NY., and Glen Cove, NY. These waters are all north of Syosset, NY., East Norwich, NY., Brookville, NY., Hicksville, NY., Old Westbury, NY., East Willston, Mineola, NY., and Roslyn, NY. Also, these waters affect southeast of Port Chester NY., and Port Chester Harbor, and affect the following features: Transport Rock, Glover Reef, Bluefish Shoal, Calf I., and Little and Great Captain Is., along with Payea Reach and a discontinued dumping ground on the northeast corner.
