Amendment 1 to the Golden Tilefish Fishery Management Plan

On August 24, 2009, NOAA Fisheries published a final rule in the Federal Register. The rule implements measures to address issues and problems that have been identified since the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) was first implemented. These measures are intended to achieve the management objectives of the FMP, and include measures to implement an Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) program.
