STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Several full-day and half-day field trips are being organized in order to broaden your internship experience, as well as a seminar series scheduled to expose you to the various offices and divisions of NOAA Fisheries. The field trips may include day trips aboard fishing vessels, tours of fishing docks and processing facilities, or fieldwork in marshes and other coastal habitats. Therefore, we recommend bringing sturdy shoes and old clothing that you won’t mind getting dirty or wet.
