Harbor Porpoise Take Reduction Plan

NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Northeast Region Protected Resources Division staff have planned a series of 7 outreach and education meetings related to the Harbor Porpoise Take Reduction Plan (HPTRP) to go over the current HPTRP requirements, discuss recent information related to the HPTRP, conduct pinger certification training and/or pinger refresher training, and distribute new outreach materials.
