SUMMER FLOUNDER
Implementing regulations for these fisheries are found at 50 CFR Part 648 Subpart G
The summer flounder fishery is managed cooperatively by the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council and the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission. The annual coastwide commercial quota is allocated to the coastal states based upon percentage shares specified in the FMP. Recreational targets (in number of fish) are established by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission. To view images of this fishery, please click here.
